Logo Design: Stars & Sticks

Posted on July 24, 2017 by BrassyDel

This logo is designed for a young pop punk band, Stars + Sticks. The pink background is for contrast for this post, as the logo is typically applied as an overlay rather than a plain white background. Need a logo or other graphic design work? Hit me up with the form below and let’s get started. [caldera_form id=”CF596677e98741e”]

Illustration Commission: Voz y Corazón Youth Characters

Posted on July 13, 2017 by BrassyDel

I’ve been working with the Mental Health Center of Denver’s youth suicide prevention program Voz y Corazón since summer of 2014 as both a professional artist and a youth mentor. Recently, the program coordinator wanted to update the artwork to represent the program and these two youth were (digitally) born!

Illustration Commission – Winter Warriors XII

Posted on January 18, 2017 by BrassyDel

Each year the Mile High Disc Golf club puts on a disc golf tournament called Winter Warriors which raises funds for Food Bank of the Rockies. I’ve been honored to participate as their illustrator for their custom event discs!  This was 2016’s Winter Warriors commissioned illustration.

T-Shirt Design: Winter Warriors XI

Posted on December 14, 2015 by BrassyDel

Winter Warriors is a local disc golf tournament that raises funds for Food Bank of the Rockies. I was commissioned to create the art for this event, which featured on custom discs, long sleeve athletic shirts, and (of course) the facebook event and group. The two elk were initially envisioned as fighting, though there was some artistic license needed to…

Logo Design: Just Holler

Posted on March 7, 2014 by BrassyDel

Another logo and branding design project, I created the logo for local Longmont, CO household helpers company Just Holler, LLC. The girl was drawn with pencil and ink pens, scanned, cleaned, and colored in Photoshop CS2. We went through several design options and color palettes, and this was the final one. I also created an accompanying slew of social media…

Logo Design: DoubleTime Personal Assistants

Posted on March 7, 2014 by BrassyDel

Several months ago, I completed a rebranding project for DoubleTime Personal Assistants. I worked with Kelli Parsons, the owner, to create a new brand identity (including a new name), corporate-friendly color palette, logo, and total design aesthetic. The clock was created from scratch in Photoshop CS2 as a vector graphic, rasterized for print materials. The text portion utilizes three seperate…

Cholma, Now with More Cape!

Posted on October 14, 2013 by BrassyDel

Because I drew the lineart for this Cholma piece on bristol board, I ran out of space to really fit the cape in. I barely got the top hand in! So the cape was added after in Photoshop. It took a couple tries to get a shape I really liked, but now I’m super happy with how it turned out….

Evil Cholma, Part II

Posted on October 9, 2013 by BrassyDel

It’s a bit easier to tell our two Cholmas apart, now that they’re in color. Green versus red… the weirdest Christmas special ever? Or just THE BEST?

Evil Cholma, Because OF COURSE

Posted on October 7, 2013 by BrassyDel

Don’t be fooled! This dashing and dastardly gentleman is actually eCho, or Evil Cholma. Created in a secret lab from stolen hero DNA, Evil Cholma is similar to the man destined to be his nemesis. But what I really want to know is how does he keep his hair looking so good in the heat of battle?! A girl’s gotta…

Cholma, All Colored Up

Posted on October 4, 2013 by BrassyDel

It’s done! Cholma in all his technicolor glory. The lineart (ink only) appeared on Monday, then we had flat colors on Wednesday, and now I’m finishing the progressive mini-series today.
