Body After Baby Challenge – Week 5

By BrassyDel

MamaNotes

Is it Week 5 of MamaNotes.com‘s Body after Baby Challenge already? Excuse me while I hyperventilate a little over here.
Okay, I’m back.
Week 4 Recap
I did okay.  Scale didn’t budge, but I made some progress on exercise with the mini challenge (sit-ups/crunches).  It was 1 pt each, with a max of 50 pts per day (350 pt max for the week).  I got 180 pts, so that was decent.  Not great, not terrible.  I’m now up to 265 pts total for the 8 week challenge.
Had a couple of rough days – weather changing, stress, etc – and indulged in some emotional eating.  So, I figure things could be worse on that side of the scale, but it turned out okay.
Week 5 Preview
There’s no mini challenge this week, so not much to say.  I found I was actually a little sad – I was really looking forward to the added direction for this week.  Oh well.  I guess I’ll have to suck it up and be an adult.  You know, responsible for my own successes or failures.
(Yeah, right.)

Not having a challenge this week kind of has me lost.
I plan on trying to keep up with the crunches.

I am SUCH an emotional eater too, I totally understand! Keep up the good work. You'll start seeing results soon! Something that has encouraged me is to take some measurements (waist, hips, etc) – then even when I don't see improvement on the scale, I see it in my measurements.
