Today I’m sharing a video with you that just makes me SMILE! This is Menelaus, an adoptable pooch currently living at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. If you recall, I volunteered with these folks for a few months before, but can’t manage it anymore with all of these dogs and childrens and such at home. So I’d like to help them out by spreading the word about some of these pups! Remember Charlie? ADOPTED! Okay, okay… probably not because of my blog post, but you never know, right? It’s crazy how the right dog and right person can find each other. In light of that… MENELAUS!
Menelaus is a redonkulously adorable 10 month old Pit Bull Terrier. Do you see that smile? That is a pitty smile. Warning: pitties tend to smile with their ENTIRE BODY. Tip of their nose, to the tip of their tails, these guys smile and wiggle and wag. They tend to be super smart and high energy, which can be challenging for some dog owners. But if you make sure you have the right home and lifestyle for one of these guys, the rewards are immense. In general, the breed tends to love people and is usually excellent with children. Some of them like other dogs and some do not. Training is essential.
