Nancy is so much fun to write that she weasled her way from a bit part to the Tomo main cast. That’s just how Nancy rolls. And she’s chipper and laid back enough that you’ll never suspect she was plotting it all along. And maybe she was, maybe she wasn’t.
Pretty hard to tell with that girl.
