Crabby-kins McKatie-pants here has the jaw line I was talking about before. It’s much closer to Kieran’s as opposed to Amanda’s little pixie face. This is basically her hair without being fiddled with – straighter and flatter.
Kate’s nose is giving me issues too. I’m a huge fan of how Faith Erin Hicks does noses – everyone has a different one and they are GREAT! I’m trying to remind myself of that sort of thing while working on character models. My different characters have definitely all looked very similar in the past, a hold-over from watching too much bad anime as a kid. I don’t want to go 180 with more outlandish carnival-style caricatures, but there’s a wealth of middle ground there for me to learn.
So I will.
