Pixie’s had a lot of difficulties in her short little life so far, like major hip surgery (twice). She is one spunky kid though, which is something I figured out when she was still a tiny little colicky newborn. Girl is feisty.
And man can she climb! Can’t walk independently again yet, but she’s always been a heck of a climber. I think she just uses her upper body to compensate for the dislocated hips, and now she has to start over learning how to use normally functional legs. Nothing keeps that kid down for long, though, not even a cast from her ribs to her ankles. Actually, that’s how she broke her darn leg while already in a full spica cast.
Yeah, that’s my girl!
