I have small children. I make sound effects. For everything. Most commonly, items make noises while they are put away.
Putting my wallet back in my purse? P-shooo!
Putting the milk back in the fridge? Buh-YOUUUUUUU!
Putting a baby down? Bah, bah, bah, bah, bah!
Tempting a child to eat more food? The food flies around on a fork and says “Fwhooo! Woooosh! Wooo!“
And so on.
Admit it! If you’ve got little kids or spend a lot of time with little kids, you know you do it too. I have a sneaking suspicion that some of you without a child-related excuse give your life sound effects too.
Confession time: I spend so much time with my kids that the sound effects have now become second nature. You just might find me out without my kids and making silly noises. Like when I put my prescriptions in my purse. Just… hypothetically.
Fess up! What silly things do YOU do?
