It’s almost Summer! I mean, sure, we just officially started Spring, but that’s still closer to Summer than Winter was. One of our favorite dog parks is up in Lafayette because there are usually more conscientious owners (less poorly behaved or aggressive dogs) and they even have a pond. It’s not a huge park, but it’s big enough and fenced in. There’s also two sections since the pond area has it’s own fence and gate, so if somebody (ahem, TANK) gets a little too excited about another dog that doesn’t want to play with him, or if some other dog is picking on one of my two, we can easily separate without either dog needing to leave. Tank’s not aggressive with other dogs, he just gets really obnoxious when he wants to play with someone. He’s like that super annoying kid at the park that wants to butt into everyone else’s game and just REALLY WANTS TO BE FRIENDS OMG.
Tank and Matti don’t really “swim,” per se, because they are goobers. Heaven forbid they get into the water far enough that the top of their butts get wet! They both can swim, though, so that’s good. And playing in the water does a heck of a job of wearing them out!
I think I should rename this last photo to “Matti: HERP DERP”.
