Before and After, Baby’s Jammies

It was clear from how easily Baby Boy got his feet wedged up in my lungs while simultaneously poking my bladder that he was going to be bigger than little Pixie was. I was afraid that he would be too big to ever get to wear my favorite gender-neutral newborn jammies handed down from his big sis, so we took a picture of him “wearing” it in utero. Pixie was born at exactly 38 weeks, and Baby Boy was born at 38 weeks and 3 days, but the kid had almost two full pounds (and just over 3 inches in length) on “big” sis’s birth weight! Lucky for me and my silly obsession with these dragon jammies, he’s just small enough that they fit.
