Domino Tile Ornaments

By BrassyDel
Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010

Sometimes I make things. Crafty things.

Like these! This is a Domino Tile ornament in progress. First, I made some purty art on my computer, then printed out to the proper size on photo paper. I paint up the Domino with silver paint, add a ribbon loop, snip-snip away at the picture, and then…

Voila! We have something that looks like this one. Do you recognize the picture? This is the shoe piece I was working on last week, now turned into a lovely, crafty ornament. This ornament even has a little added bling: some scrapbooking gold beads used to accent the bead rivets on the shoe’s strap. Admit it: your Christmas tree is jealous. You know, if you have one. The rest of you guys can just imagine how awesome the Domino tile would look as a necklace pendant, or as a little piece of art hanging in your kitchen or your bathroom. There: now you can feel jealous too. See how accomodating I am? You’re welcome.

Wait! We’re not quite done yet. After I put the ornament together, it gets packaged up like this:

And then it gets posted in my Etsy shop, like this listing right here, or even here. Fun!

And that’s why I have glue on my fingers.
