Gardening update

The yard is slowly coming together.  I’m really hoping that I can get a lot done before we get our first frost and then snow.  There are some shrubs that need to be trimmed back, and trimming can encourage growth, so you don’t want to do it during the winter when the shrub is supposed to be hibernating.  I also need to plant my spring bulbs in the next couple of weeks.  I got a large pack of color-coordinated Tulips and one of Crocuses and a large bag of potting soil.  I’ve picked out a spot for Tulips that is ready to go, and another for the Crocus that is almost ready.  If I’m lucky, I’ll get some of the Tulips in the ground today.  But it’s after noon already and I’m still in pajamas, so… yeah.  Optimism.
